An idea occurred to me after my linear algebra professor last quarter reminded the class that a vector was quantity with magnitude and direction, just in case we'd suffered traumatic brain damage since he'd mentioned it a week prior. Discouraged, I stopped attending class, stopped doing homework, and failed the final, which caused me to get… a B. Huh. Welcome to UCLA, the top public university in the world.
I don't trust the school with my education after that, so I've decided to study by myself. I'm usually dismissive of things in the format 'learn X in N time-units', but let's try it for the sake of experiment. In the next year, I will learn as much as is humanly possible in that time span using only free resources. Simultaneously, I will maintain the Zencyclopedia as a sort of adventure log.
